Position Summary The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for ensuring product quality and compliance with ASME BPE, customer requirements, and the company's Quality Management System (QMS). The role leads quality assurance activities, internal audits, process controls, validation, CAPA, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Quality Assurance function and manage internal audits.
- Ensure process inspections are conducted as per approved Control Plans.
- Oversee incoming, in-process, final, and pre-dispatch inspections (PDI).
- Manage process and product validation activities.
- Maintain the calibration system for measuring and testing equipment.
- Ensure timely implementation of CAPA for internal, supplier, and customer quality issues.
- Maintain and improve QMS, EMS, OHSMS, and 5S systems.
- Train and develop QA team members on quality standards and best practices.
Authorities
- Supervise QA personnel and approve inspection reports.
- Approve actions related to non-conforming products.
- Stop production or shipment of products that do not meet quality requirements.
- Initiate and revise QMS documents.
- Act as Management Representative when authorized.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Production, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related field.
- 812 years of QA experience in manufacturing, preferably in ASME BPE or pharmaceutical process equipment.
