About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented, high-ownership QA Lead / Senior QA Automation Engineer to build and strengthen our testing framework across our web applications. In this role, you will take complete ownership of quality assurance—ensuring seamless user experiences, rock-solid system reliability, and high performance.

You will design, develop, and execute automated test suites using Python and Selenium , perform deep backend and database validation, and collaborate closely with developers and product managers to catch issues early and ship with confidence.

Key Responsibilities

- Test Automation & Architecture: Design, build, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks using Python and Selenium for end-to-end web application testing.
- Database & API Validation: Conduct hands-on backend and database testing (SQL) to verify data integrity, query correctness, and API response reliability.
- Quality Ownership: Define end-to-end QA strategy, write comprehensive test plans, and create detailed test cases covering functional, regression, edge-case, and integration scenarios.
- Defect & Bug Management: Identify, log, track, and re-test bugs, working closely with the engineering team to ensure rapid resolution of production and staging issues.
- CI/CD Integration:



Integrate automated test scripts into existing CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous testing and zero-regression deployments.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering from feature ideation through release to advocate for quality and user experience.

Required Skills & Experience

- Core Automation: Proven hands-on experience in automation testing using Python and Selenium .
- Database Expertise: Solid proficiency in SQL and database testing to inspect schema, validate query results, and ensure data consistency.
- API & Web Testing: solid understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, browser developer tools, and web architecture.
- Test Design: Demonstrated capability to create structured test strategies, test cases, and bug reports with clear reproduction steps.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Exposure to API automation tools (e.g., Postman, PyTest, Requests).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
