Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced NDT Engineer – QA/QC to join our boiler manufacturing facility in Vapi, Gujarat. The candidate will be responsible for quality inspection of boilers, pressure vessels, pressure parts, welded joints, pipework, and related components to ensure compliance with applicable quality standards, safety regulations, and customer specifications.

The role requires hands-on experience in NDT, welding inspection, boiler or pressure vessel fabrication, and QA/QC processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement QA/QC procedures for boiler manufacturing and fabrication processes.
- Perform in-process and final inspections of boilers, pressure parts, weld joints, pipework, valves, and boiler components.
- Conduct and interpret NDT methods such as RT, UT, MPI, and DPI, as per applicable procedures and qualifications.
- Review WPS, PQR, and welder qualification records.
- Verify compliance with applicable ASME Codes, IBR, and relevant ISO quality requirements.
- Inspect incoming raw materials, including plates, tubes, castings, forgings, and purchased components.




- Prepare and maintain MTCs, inspection reports, quality dossiers, and compliance documentation.
- Coordinate with suppliers for quality approvals, audits, and corrective actions.
- Review hydrostatic test procedures and witness hydro tests, leakage tests, and performance tests.
- Coordinate with production and fabrication teams to resolve quality issues and ensure timely corrective actions.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Welding Technology, or related discipline.
- 3–5 years of relevant QA/QC experience in boiler manufacturing, pressure vessel manufacturing, heavy fabrication, or industrial equipment manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience in welding inspection and NDT Level II.
- Knowledge of WPS, PQR, welder qualification, and weld joint inspection.
- Exposure to applicable ASME Codes, IBR, and quality inspection standards.
- Experience in quality documentation, material inspection, and hydrostatic testing.
- Solid coordination and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile Candidates with experience in boiler manufacturing, pressure vessel fabrication, heavy engineering, or industrial equipment quality inspection will be considered.
