Position: QA Intern Manual Testing Duration: [3 / 6 months, mention if PPO possible]

About the Role

We’re looking for QA interns to join our testing team. This is a excellent opportunity for freshers who want to build a career in software testing. You’ll work closely with senior QA engineers, learn the full software testing lifecycle, and get hands-on experience testing real product features.

Responsibilities

Understand requirements/user stories and write test cases

Execute manual test cases and log defects with clear reproduction steps

Perform functional, regression, and smoke testing

Verify bug fixes and do basic sanity checks

Write simple SQL queries to validate backend data

Participate in daily standups and report testing status

Learn and follow the team’s bug tracking and test management tools (Jira, Bugzilla, TestRail, etc.)

Required Skills





Basic understanding of Software Testing concepts (SDLC, STLC, test case design)

Basic SQL knowledge (SELECT, WHERE, JOIN, GROUP BY)

Good analytical and logical thinking

Attention to detail

Good written and verbal communication (for bug reports)

Willingness to learn tools like Jira/Bugzilla/Postman/browser dev tools

Good to Have (not mandatory for freshers)

Exposure to API testing (Postman)

Basic awareness of Load/Performance testing (JMeter or similar)

Awareness of Agile/Scrum

Basic knowledge of any scripting/programming language

Basic awareness of automation testing (Selenium, or any automation tool) — a plus

Qualification: BE/BTech/BCA/MCA or equivalent (recent graduate)
