QA Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a QA Engineer to ensure the quality, stability, and reliability of our web applications. The candidate will be responsible for planning and executing tests, identifying defects, validating fixes, and supporting releases.

Key Responsibilities

Understand product requirements and convert them into test scenarios and test cases. Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, exploratory, and end-to-end testing. Test web applications across different browsers, devices, and screen sizes. Validate new features, enhancements, fixes, and existing functionality. Identify, reproduce, document, and track defects with clear steps and supporting evidence. Perform retesting and regression testing after fixes. Perform exploratory testing to identify issues outside planned test cases. Validate application workflows across development and production environments. Maintain test cases, test execution results, defect reports, screenshots, and QA documentation. Work closely with developers and product stakeholders to investigate and resolve defects.



Perform release validation and post-deployment testing. Prepare QA reports and maintain proper testing documentation.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of manual testing and QA processes. Good understanding of SDLC and STLC. Experience with functional, regression, smoke, sanity, exploratory, and end-to-end testing. Good understanding of defect life cycle and bug reporting. Experience with web application testing and responsive testing. Basic knowledge of API testing and database validation. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail. * Valuable communication and teamwork skills.

Tools

Jira or similar defect tracking tools. Postman or similar API testing tools. SQL for basic database validation. Familiarity with automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, or Appium is preferred.

Experience

1 to 3 years of experience in software testing or QA. Experience testing web applications. * Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
