Job Summary

We are hiring an experienced QA Engineer – Exchange / FinTech with 3+ years of experience testing transactional web applications.

The ideal candidate must have solid hands-on experience with API testing, database testing, Postman, SQL, and Playwright or Cypress, along with a practical understanding of trading and exchange workflows.

This role requires more than UI testing. You must be comfortable validating orders, wallet balances, reservations, fees, transaction flows, and ledger reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform functional, regression, integration, API, database, and end-to-end testing.
- Test exchange and trading workflows including Limit, Market, and Stop Orders.
- Validate order books, maker/taker logic, partial fills, cancellations, and order status transitions.
- Verify trading fees and related financial calculations.
- Test available, reserved/locked, and total wallet balances.
- Validate balance reservations during order placement and release after cancellation or execution.
- Perform wallet and ledger reconciliation.
- Test APIs using Postman and validate requests, responses, payloads, status codes, and error scenarios.
- Validate backend data using SQL.
- Create and maintain automated tests using Playwright or Cypress.




- Investigate transaction issues using logs, request IDs, transaction IDs, API responses, and database records.
- Create precise and reproducible bug reports with screenshots, evidence, calculations, and expected vs. actual results.
- Work closely with developers and product teams to identify root causes and verify fixes.

Must-Have Skills
- 3+ years of professional QA experience.
- Strong API testing experience.
- Strong Postman knowledge.
- Strong SQL/database testing skills.
- Experience with Playwright or Cypress.
- Comfortable working with CLI/debugging tools.
- Experience testing transactional applications.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.

Exchange Knowledge Required

You should be able to validate a complete transaction:

Order Placement → Balance Reservation → Order Matching → Partial/Full Fill → Fee Calculation → Balance Update → Ledger Reconciliation

Experience with crypto exchanges, Forex platforms, brokerage systems, wallets, banking, payment gateways, or other FinTech products is highly preferred.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
