Role Overview

We are looking for an Automation Tester / QA Automation Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Playwright, shell scripting, BDD, AWS services, and end-to-end workflow automation. The ideal candidate should have strong programming skills in Java or Python, experience in UI and backend/API testing, and exposure to AI tools and LLMs.

This role is specifically for Automation Testing professionals.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automation test suites using Playwright and shell scripting.
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing across UI, databases, batch jobs, and AWS resources.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Automate complex end-to-end workflows and continuously improve test coverage.
- Coordinate end-to-end testing across different product and domain teams.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and integrate automated tests into the development lifecycle.
- Contribute to and maintain testing documentation, standards, and best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.




- Propose cutting-edge approaches to improve automation efficiency and effectiveness.
- Document automation workflow designs, execution steps, and usage instructions.
- Prepare user guides and runbooks to support maintainability and knowledge sharing.
- Document and track test artifacts in appropriate tools, including Jira and source-code repositories.
- Maintain tools used for test development, including source control, test management, and release systems.
- Develop and maintain requirements traceability matrices.
- Communicate blockers and risks proactively to minimize project delays.
- Perform manual testing when required.

Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of QA automation experience, with a strong focus on modern automation frameworks.
- Strong programming skills in Java or Python.
- Strong shell scripting skills.
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience writing and executing database queries.
- Experience working in a Linux environment.
- Experience testing backend services, APIs, and web-based UI applications.
- Solid understanding of AWS services.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Experience with test management and bug-tracking tools such as Jira or TestRail.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Experience with JMeter or other performance testing tools.

Preferred Qualifications
- AWS certifications, such as AWS Certified Developer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
- Exposure to performance testing using tools such as JMeter.
- Knowledge of containerization tools such as Docker.
- Exposure to security and accessibility testing practices.
- Exposure to any ETL tool.
- Knowledge of Generative AI and LLMs.
- Hands-on experience using the OpenAI API or similar AI/ML APIs to build applications or prototypes.

Pay: From ₹1,200,000.00 per year
