Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer who can take ownership of quality assurance processes and build scalable automation solutions for modern web applications, APIs, and distributed systems. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in automation frameworks, programming, CI/CD pipelines, test strategy, and emerging AI-driven testing practices.

The candidate should be capable of working independently, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving automation best practices across the engineering organization.

Primary Technical Requirements

Automation & Programming

- Strong hands-on experience in test automation framework development and maintenance.
- Practical programming experience in Python.
- Expertise in Pytest framework for test execution, fixtures, parametrization, hooks, reporting, and parallel execution.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright for modern UI automation testing.




- Experience designing scalable and maintainable automation frameworks using best design principles (POM, modular framework, reusable components).

API & Backend Testing

- Robust experience in API automation testing (REST APIs, Distributed Microservices testing).
- Experience with API testing tools/frameworks such as Postman, Requests library, REST clients, etc.
- Understanding of service virtualization, contract testing, and backend integration validation.

Database Testing

- Good SQL knowledge.
- Experience working with NoSQL databases, such as (MongoDB, Amazon DynamoDB, Redis, etc.).
- Ability to perform data validation, backend verification, and test data analysis.

CI/CD & DevOps

- Hands-on experience with tools like:

Jenkins

GitHub Actions

GitLab CI

Azure DevOps

- Understanding of containerized test execution using Docker is a plus.
