Role Description This full-time, on-site QA Automation Engineer position is based in the Pune Division and is intended for professionals with 8+ years of experience in quality engineering and test automation. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and scripts for web, mobile, and backend applications, ensuring comprehensive coverage of functional, regression, and integration testing.

The individual will collaborate closely with product owners, developers, and DevOps engineers to understand requirements, define test strategies, and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.



Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and reviewing test cases, executing manual and automated tests, analyzing test results, logging and tracking defects, and providing explicit feedback to stakeholders. The role also includes mentoring junior QA team members, driving best practices in test automation, and contributing to continuous improvement of quality standards across projects.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Quality Assurance, including test planning, test strategy, and defect management.
- Candidates should possess experience in creating and maintaining detailed Test Cases and test documentation aligned with business and technical requirements.
- Candidates should possess hands-on Manual Testing and Software Testing skills, covering functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Candidates should possess advanced QA Automation skills, including building and optimizing automated test suites and integrating them with CI/CD pipelines.
- 8+ years of experience in QA/Testing, preferably in enterprise software or AI-driven applications.
- Proficiency with common automation tools and frameworks (such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, REST API testing tools, or equivalent).
- Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and DevOps practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on reliability and performance.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams on-site
