Python Backend Developer

Location: Remote Experience: 2–3 years Employment Type: Full-time Package : 3-5 LPA

About the Role We are looking for a skilled

Python Backend Developer to join our engineering team. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs. If you enjoy building clean, efficient server-side applications and working with modern technologies like GraphQL, cloud platforms, and databases, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs
- Write reusable, testable, and productive Python code
- Integrate with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) databases
- Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Use Linux environments for development, deployment, and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and DevOps teams
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality
- Participate in code reviews and maintain Git workflows (GitHub / GitLab / Bitbucket)
- Debug production issues and optimize application performance

Python Backend Developer Required Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have : •

2–3 years of professional backend development experience with

Python • Strong understanding of





REST API design principles (HTTP methods, status codes, authentication) • Experience building

GraphQL APIs

(using Graphene, Strawberry, or Ariadne) • Solid experience with

SQL databases ( PostgreSQL, MySQL) and writing optimized queries • Familiarity with at least one

NoSQL database

(MongoDB, DynamoDB, Redis) • Hands-on experience with cloud services

(AWS EC2/RDS/Lambda, GCP Compute Engine, or Azure Functions) • Proficiency with

Linux command line (bash, SSH, file permissions, process management) • Strong

Git skills (branching, merging, rebasing, pull requests)

Good to Have: • Experience with

Docker and containerization • Familiarity with message queues

(RabbitMQ, Kafka, Celery) • Knowledge of

API authentication

(JWT, OAuth2) • Exposure to

CI/CD pipelines

(GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) • Basic understanding of testing frameworks

(pytest, unittest)
