About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Python Backend Developer with 6+ years of experience in designing and developing scalable backend applications and REST APIs.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Python, FastAPI/Flask/Django, REST APIs, databases, microservices, and cloud technologies. The candidate will be responsible for developing reliable backend services and integrating them with frontend applications, databases, and third-party systems.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python.

Develop high-performance REST APIs and backend services.

Work with frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.

Design and implement microservices and service-oriented applications.

Develop database schemas, queries, and data access layers.

Integrate backend services with frontend applications and third-party APIs.

Implement authentication, authorization, logging, and error handling.

Optimize backend application performance and scalability.

Write clean, reusable, testable, and maintainable code.

Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.

Develop unit and integration tests.

Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and product stakeholders.

Participate in code reviews and follow software engineering best practices.

Work with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based deployments.





Required Skills

6+ years of backend/software development experience.

Robust hands-on experience with Python.

Strong experience with at least one Python framework: FastAPI, Django, or Flask.

Strong experience developing REST APIs.

Good understanding of microservices architecture.

Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL/MySQL.

Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB is preferred.

Good understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles.

Experience with Git.

Experience with unit testing and debugging.

Understanding of authentication mechanisms such as OAuth2/JWT.

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred.

Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
