Work Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM | 1st, 3rd & 5th Saturdays off | Working Saturdays: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Reports To: Head of School / Principal

Position Summary The PYP Coordinator will serve as the pedagogical leader and academic anchor for the Primary Section. The role calls for a strategic blend of instructional leadership, curriculum expertise, and professional development facilitation, working closely with school leadership and teachers to ensure effective delivery of the Cambridge, ICSE, and IGCSE curriculum framework for the Primary Years.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and oversee curriculum implementation across the Primary Section (Nursery to Grade 5)
- Ensure alignment of academic planning with Cambridge, ICSE, and IGCSE standards
- Facilitate collaborative planning sessions and mentor teachers in inquiry-based teaching
- Support teachers through classroom observations, feedback,



and lesson planning
- Serve as academic liaison with examination boards; maintain audit-ready documentation
- Design and conduct training sessions and PD programs for staff
- Coordinate with leadership on academic planning and budget input
- Supervise the Primary academic team in a dotted-line capacity
- Organize parent orientation sessions and support stakeholder engagement

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or a relevant field
- 5–10 years of experience in primary education, including 2–3 years in a coordinator or academic leadership role
- Strong grasp of Cambridge, ICSE, and IGCSE curriculum frameworks, unit planning, and assessment criteria
- Proven experience in teacher mentoring, team leadership, and curriculum planning

Preferred

- Experience as a PYP Coordinator, Primary Coordinator, or Academic Coordinator
- Experience with board audits, inspections, or accreditation visits
- Familiarity with inclusive education, student agency, and digital integration

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
