Role Description The Purchasing Executive role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Kolkata metropolitan area. The individual in this role will manage end-to-end purchasing activities, including processing purchase requisitions, preparing and tracking purchase orders, and coordinating with suppliers for timely delivery. Daily responsibilities include sourcing and evaluating vendors, negotiating prices and terms, maintaining accurate purchasing records,



and ensuring compliance with company policies and quality standards.

The Purchasing

Executive will collaborate closely with production, finance, and warehouse teams to maintain optimal inventory levels, prevent stock-outs, and support smooth operations. The role also involves monitoring market trends, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and contributing to continuous improvement in procurement processes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust skills in Purchase Management, including handling Purchase Orders and Purchase Requisitions.
- Candidates should possess solid Procurement skills, including vendor sourcing, negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
- Candidates should possess clear and effective Communication skills for working with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Candidates should possess basic proficiency in MS Office or similar tools for documentation, reporting, and data analysis.
- Relevant experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, or a similar high-volume environment is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, numerical aptitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, on-site setting.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, commerce, business administration, or a related field is advantageous.
