Role Description The Purchasing Manager is a full time, on-site role based in the Gurugram, responsible for overseeing all procurement activities related to solar EPC and asset management projects. In this role, the Purchasing Manager manages vendor selection, negotiates contracts and pricing, and ensures timely availability of materials, equipment, and services aligned with project requirements and budgets. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring inventory levels, issuing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, resolving supply issues, and maintaining accurate procurement records.





The role collaborates closely with engineering, project management, and finance teams to forecast demand, optimize procurement plans, and maintain compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.

The Purchasing

Manager is also expected to build strong supplier relationships, support cost-optimization initiatives, and contribute to continuous improvements in procurement processes.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in purchasing, procurement planning, and supplier management, with experience negotiating contracts and pricing.
- Ability to manage inventory, track deliveries, and use ERP or procurement management systems effectively.
- Experience working with technical specifications, bills of materials, and project documentation, ideally in solar, renewable energy, or construction.
- Solid analytical and financial skills for cost analysis, budget tracking, and identifying savings opportunities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Proven organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on meeting project deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field; professional certifications in supply chain or procurement are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a purchasing or supply chain role within EPC, infrastructure, or industrial projects is highly beneficial.
- Comfort working on-site in the Greater Delhi Area and adapting to a dynamic, fast-paced project workplace.
