Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Coimbatore for Purchase – Textile / Fabric Sourcing at TruColors. The role involves identifying and evaluating fabric suppliers, negotiating prices and terms, and ensuring timely procurement of textiles aligned with production schedules. The team member will be responsible for assessing fabric quality, managing sample approvals, and coordinating with design and production teams to meet specific product requirements.

Day-to-day tasks include monitoring inventory levels, maintaining accurate purchase records, and tracking orders to ensure on-time delivery. The role also requires staying updated on textile market trends, optimizing sourcing strategies, and supporting cost-effective,



high-quality school-wear manufacturing.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in textile or fabric purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain management, ideally within apparel or uniform manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of fabrics, trims, textile quality parameters, and basic garment construction relevant to school-wear products.
- Ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers, manage vendor relationships, and secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
- Proficiency in using spreadsheets or ERP systems for purchase tracking, inventory management, and documentation.
- Solid analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in purchase orders and records.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for coordination with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Capability to work on-site in Coimbatore, collaborating closely with production, merchandising, and quality teams.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Textile Technology, Fashion/Apparel Management, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in school-wear or uniform sourcing, and familiarity with lead times, cost structures, and compliance standards, will be an added advantage.
