We are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager with robust knowledge of electrical materials and structural work to manage procurement activities and vendor coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end procurement of electrical and structural materials
- Identify and evaluate reliable suppliers and vendors
- Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules
- Purchase electrical components, solar materials, cables, panels, structures, and related items
- Coordinate with project and technical teams to understand material requirements
- Monitor purchase orders, deliveries, and inventory
- Ensure timely availability of materials at project sites
- Maintain purchase records and supplier databases
- Monitor market prices and identify cost-saving opportunities
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or related field preferred
- Relevant experience in purchase/procurement
- Strong knowledge of electrical materials and structural work is required
- Experience in solar, electrical, construction, or related industries preferred
- Good vendor negotiation and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes and material management
