: Team Lead – Purchase

Location: Tathawade, Pune

Job Summary : Manage end-to-end project procurement, supplier development, and material planning to ensure timely project delivery, cost savings, and smooth team execution.

Key Responsibilities :

- Procurement & Sourcing: Handle end-to-end purchasing for project and operational needs; float RFQs, evaluate techno-commercial offers, and negotiate price, terms, and delivery schedules.
- Vendor & Contract Management: Identify alternative suppliers, evaluate vendor performance, and manage ARCs, agreements, and vendor contracts.
- ERP & Documentation: Issue POs in ERP, track shipments, coordinate with stores for GRN creation, and maintain all procurement records.
- Planning & Cost Control: Align requirements using drawings and BOMs, drive cost optimization, and manage inventory using JIT principles.
- Leadership & Coordination: Lead, assign tasks,



and mentor team members while collaborating closely with Design, Control, Stores, and Project teams.
- Reporting: Prepare MIS reports, KPI trackers, purchase forecasts, and updates for management.
- Skills & Qualifications :
- Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (Supply Chain certification is a plus).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, reading technical drawings/BOMs, and JIT inventory management.
- Soft Skills: Solid negotiation, leadership, vendor evaluation, price comparison, and cross-departmental coordination.
