KEY POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Ensures seamless production by providing timely access to required materials.
2. Collaborates with production teams to understand material needs and maintain adequate stock levels.
3. Sources and procures electronic components and items needed for controller manufacturing.
4. Identifies reliable suppliers and negotiates terms and agreements.
5. Works closely with production planning to align procurement efforts with the target of producing 40,000 controllers per month.
6. Ensures timely delivery of materials to meet production schedules.
7. Differentiates between items that can be used readily in our products and those that require customization.
8. Plans and procures both standard and customized components accordingly.

Develops a procurement plan for imported bought-out materials with a focus on a 3-month horizon.
10. Ensures compliance with import regulations and manage customs clearance processes.
11. Manages relationships with fixed vendors, both domestic and international, who supply 90% of the materials.
12Evaluates vendor performance and maintain a vendor rating system.
13. Oversees the procurement of transformers exclusively from the domestic market, including locations such as Delhi, Chennai, Pune, and Bangalore.
14. The role does not involve any travel, ensuring focused efforts on procurement activities.
15Procures materials exclusively from authorized distributors of OEMs to ensure product quality and authenticity.
16. Handles non-standard procurement, which accounts for 20% of monthly procurement needs.
17. Navigates complexities in sourcing unique or specialized components.
QualificationsCourse
1. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
