1. Job Purpose

The Purchase Manager will be responsible for managing the complete procurement function, ensuring timely availability of materials, components, consumables and services at competitive prices while maintaining required quality standards and optimum inventory levels. The role will involve domestic and international procurement, vendor development, purchase planning, commercial negotiations, coordination with stores, production, quality, finance and logistics, and ensuring adherence to company procurement procedures.
1. Key Responsibilities

A. Procurement & Purchase Planning
- Manage end-to-end procurement of raw materials, components, bought-out items, consumables, packing materials,



spares and services.
- Review purchase requirements based on production plans, sales orders, inventory levels and material requirements.
- Prepare and release Purchase Orders in accordance with approved requirements and commercial terms.
- Ensure timely procurement and availability of materials to avoid production delays or customer delivery issues.
- Monitor open Purchase Orders and follow up with vendors for timely delivery.

B. Vendor Management & Development
- Identify, evaluate and develop current suppliers based on quality, price, delivery capability and commercial terms.
- Maintain and periodically review the approved vendor list.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties and other commercial conditions.
