Role Description The Purchase Manager (Civil or Interior Industry) is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. The individual will manage end-to-end procurement activities for civil and interior projects, including sourcing materials, negotiating with vendors, and ensuring timely delivery to project sites.

Daily tasks include evaluating supplier proposals, maintaining purchase records, coordinating with project managers and site engineers, and monitoring inventory levels to avoid shortages or delays. The role involves reviewing technical specifications, ensuring quality standards, and controlling costs in line with project budgets and timelines.

Manager will also develop vendor relationships, track market trends in construction and interior materials, and support continuous improvement in procurement processes.

Qualifications

- Solid procurement and vendor management skills in civil construction or interior fit-out projects, including sourcing, negotiation, and purchase order management.




- Experience with inventory control, material planning, and coordination with project, site, and finance teams.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings, BOQs, and material specifications relevant to civil and interior works.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with ERP or procurement software for documentation and tracking.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative and solution-oriented approach.
- Strong analytical, cost-control, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and adherence to timelines.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Construction Management, Supply Chain, or a related field; relevant industry experience is highly valued.
- Knowledge of local suppliers and market rates in Hyderabad and surrounding regions; prior experience in civil or interior industry procurement is preferred.
