Role Description The Purchase Manager is a full-time, in office role based in Kanpur, responsible for overseeing the end-to-end procurement process for raw materials, packaging, and related supplies. This role involves identifying and evaluating suppliers, negotiating pricing and contracts, and ensuring timely delivery aligned with production schedules.

The Purchase

Manager will track inventory levels, optimize order quantities, and coordinate closely with production, quality, and finance teams to maintain cost-effective and reliable supply chains. Day-to-day activities include reviewing purchase requisitions, monitoring market trends and material costs,



maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.

Qualifications

- Strong procurement and vendor management skills, including supplier evaluation, negotiation, and contract management.
- Experience in inventory control, demand forecasting, and cost optimization within a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of purchase processes, documentation, and compliance, preferably in textiles or apparel manufacturing.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP or procurement software for data analysis, reporting, and tracking purchase orders.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities with attention to accuracy and detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Commerce, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to work on-site in Kanpur, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
