Crescent Lighting is looking for an experienced Purchase Manager to lead end-to-end procurement for its LED luminaire manufacturing operations — from vendor sourcing and negotiation to timely material availability for production and projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement of raw materials, components, and finished goods from domestic vendors
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors; maintain and expand an approved vendor base
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts to optimize cost without compromising quality
- Coordinate with QA/NPD teams on vendor rating, audits, and compliance requirements
- Ensure timely procurement to support production schedules and project timelines (enquiry to delivery/GRN)
- Track material pricing trends and maintain updated cost/vendor databases
- Collaborate with Sales/Project teams on BOQ-based sourcing and quotes for MTO (Make-to-Order) requirements
- Monitor inventory levels and vendor performance (quality, delivery, pricing)
- Ensure procurement processes align with company quality and compliance standards
Requirements
- 10–15 years of experience in procurement, preferably in lighting, electrical, or manufacturing industry
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills
- Working knowledge of BOQ, BOM, and project-based procurement
- Proficiency in MS Excel and procurement/ERP systems
- Solid analytical and cross-functional coordination skills
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
