Education

- Time - 9 to 7 and 6 days working

- 8-9 years of experience in procurement within machine, tool, or manufacturing industry

- Strong knowledge of raw materials and industrial components

- Proven experience in vendor development and negotiation

- Familiarity with ERP/ SAP systems and procurement tools

- Strong analytical, leadership, and decision-making skills

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Purchase Head to lead and manage all procurement activities for our machine and tool manufacturing unit. The role involves strategic sourcing, vendor development, cost optimization, and ensuring timely availability of raw materials and general factory supplies.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the complete procurement function including raw materials, components, consumables,



and general factory purchases

- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business goals

- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors for quality and cost efficiency

- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms with suppliers

- Ensure timely availability of materials to avoid production delays

- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stores and production teams

- Implement cost-saving initiatives and value engineering practices

- Maintain robust supplier relationships and performance tracking

- Ensure compliance with company policies and audit requirements

- Handle import procurement (if applicable) including documentation and coordination

- Lead and mentor the purchase team
