Job Purpose To manage day-to-day procurement activities for construction projects and corporate requirements, ensuring timely availability of materials, competitive pricing, quality, and proper vendor coordination.

1. Key Responsibilities / KRAs

- Raise and process purchase requirements based on approved material requisitions.

- Source and evaluate vendors for construction materials, equipment, services, and general requirements.

- Obtain and compare quotations and negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial terms.

- Prepare Purchase Orders (POs) as per approved requirements.

- Coordinate with project, stores, accounts, and other departments for timely procurement.

- Follow up with vendors for material delivery and ensure adherence to committed timelines.

- Maintain vendor records, quotations, purchase orders, and procurement documentation.

- Monitor market prices and identify cost-saving opportunities.

- Coordinate with Stores and Quality teams for material receipt and quality-related issues.

- Handle vendor complaints, shortages, replacements,



and delayed deliveries.

- Ensure purchases are made within approved budgets and company procurement procedures.

- Maintain proper records and MIS reports related to purchases.

- Timely procurement and material availability.

- Purchase cost savings / negotiation efficiency.

- Vendor delivery performance.

- Quality and compliance of procured materials.

- Accuracy and timely processing of Purchase Orders.

- Vendor development and performance.

- Adherence to approved procurement processes and budgets.

1. Authority & Responsibility

- Responsible for routine procurement activities within approved authority limits.

- Recommend suitable vendors based on price, quality, and delivery capability.

- Negotiate commercial terms within delegated authority.

- Escalate major price variations, delays, quality issues, and non-compliance to the reporting manager.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
