We are looking for a agile Purchase Senior Executive with 3–4 years of experience in procurement and sourcing within the automotive ancillary sector. The candidate should hold an MBA in Operations and possess strong analytical, negotiation, and vendor management skills. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth procurement of critical materials, driving cost efficiency, and maintaining supplier performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and procure raw materials, components, consumables, and tooling for manufacturing operations
- Identify, evaluate, and on-board suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance
- Raise and monitor purchase orders based on production schedules and inventory levels
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers
- Track market trends and implement cost-saving initiatives
- Coordinate with production,
stores, quality, and finance teams to ensure end-to-end procurement alignment
- Maintain documentation for audits, vendor evaluations, and management reporting
- Assist in new product development (NPD) sourcing activities
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Education:
- MBA in Operations Management (Mandatory)
- Experience:
- 3–4 years of hands-on procurement experience in an automotive ancillary or Tier 1 supplier environment
- Skills:
- Strong vendor negotiation and relationship management
- Basic knowledge of ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Others)
- Familiarity with automotive standards and documentation
- Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools
