Job Title: Purchase & Inventory (PI) - Executive

Salary: ₹17,000 – ₹23,000 per month

Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and organized Purchase & Inventory (PI) Executive to oversee daily procurement activities and maintain strict stock control across our facility. In this role, you will coordinate vendor orders, track purchase schedules, monitor safety stock levels, and perform regular inventory audits to ensure zero downtime on the assembly floor while preventing excess stock holding.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor material requirement plans (MRP) and generate Purchase Orders (PO) for production parts, hardware, packaging supplies, and plant consumables.
- Follow up with suppliers and transport partners on dispatch schedules, shipping status, and delivery timelines to ensure on-time inward.
- Track minimum order quantities (MOQ), lead times, and reorder levels to prevent line-side component shortages.
- Coordinate with the Stores and Quality to verify received materials against delivery challans, invoices, and purchase orders.
- Manage inventory accuracy through periodic cycle counts, stock reconciliation,



and monthly physical inventory audits.
- Identify and report discrepancies between physical stock and system records; investigate root causes of stock variances.
- Track slow-moving, non-moving (NMSM), and rejected materials; coordinate with vendors for replacements, debit notes, or returns.
- Maintain purchase registers, vendor databases, price comparative sheets, and daily inventory MIS reports in MS Excel and ERP software.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Any Bachelor's Degree.
- Candidates with 1 to 4 years of experience in purchasing, material planning, or store inventory control.
- Prior exposure to automobile assembly, engineering, or manufacturing environments is an added advantage.
- Proficient in MS Excel and working knowledge of ERP/inventory software.
- Solid negotiation, vendor follow-up, and numerical reasoning skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Tamil.
- High level of integrity, organized record-keeping, and attention to detail.

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
