About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive – Export & Import to manage procurement activities, vendor coordination, import/export documentation, and timely availability of materials. The candidate will work closely with suppliers, logistics partners, freight forwarders, finance, warehouse, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Handle day-to-day purchase and procurement activities for domestic and international requirements.

Identify, evaluate, and coordinate with suppliers/vendors for materials and products.

Request and compare quotations, negotiate price, payment terms, delivery schedules, and commercial conditions.

Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely delivery.

Coordinate with overseas suppliers for import orders, shipment schedules, and documentation.

Handle Export & Import documentation, including Purchase Orders, Proforma Invoices, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Shipping Documents, and related records.

Coordinate with freight forwarders, CHA/customs agents, shipping lines, and logistics partners.

Track shipments from order placement to final delivery and resolve delays or discrepancies.

Coordinate with the warehouse and quality team for material receipt and inspection.

Maintain proper records of purchase orders, invoices, supplier quotations, shipments, and import/export documents.

Monitor inventory requirements and coordinate timely procurement to avoid stock shortages.

Verify supplier invoices and coordinate with the finance/accounts team for payment processing.





Develop and maintain strong relationships with domestic and international suppliers.

Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and applicable import/export procedures.

Prepare regular MIS reports related to purchases, pending orders, shipments, and vendor performance.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of Purchase & Procurement Operations.

Good understanding of Import & Export processes and documentation.

Experience in vendor management and price negotiation.

Knowledge of Incoterms, shipping procedures, freight, and logistics will be an advantage.

Positive knowledge of MS Excel, ERP/SAP, and MS Office.

Strong communication and coordination skills.

Good analytical and negotiation skills.

Ability to manage multiple purchase orders and shipments simultaneously.

Valuable command of written and spoken English.

Experience

2–5 years of relevant experience in Purchase/Procurement with exposure to Import & Export operations, preferably in an MNC, manufacturing, trading, or international business environment.

Qualification

B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Candidates with relevant experience in Purchase, Procurement, Import & Export will be preferred.

Good command of English, MS Excel, and ERP/SAP is required.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
