Qualification - BE - Mechanical

Experience -2-3 Yrs

Location - Pune

Preferred Industries- Industrial Equipment / Machinery/SPM

Role & Responsibilities -

Identify and evaluate suppliers for engineering materials and components

Prepare and process purchase orders based on technical specifications

Compare quotations and negotiate prices, delivery, and payment terms

Coordinate with design, production, and project teams to understand requirements

Ensure purchased items meet technical and quality standards

Track orders, deliveries, and resolve supply-related issues

Maintain vendor records and purchase documentation

Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures

Support cost-reduction and value-engineering initiatives

Required Skills / Knowledge-

Solid knowledge of engineering materials and components

Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications

Negotiation and communication skills

Analytical and cost-comparison skills

Vendor management and coordination

Basic knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) is a plus
