Key Responsibilities1. Sourcing &

- Material Procurement

- Identify, source, and procure civil construction materials (e.g., TMT steel, cement, aggregates, ready-mix concrete, bricks, and finishing materials) and heavy equipment.

- Review Bill of Quantities (BOQs) and technical drawings to align purchasing quantities with actual site demands.

- Prepare and float Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to qualified bidders. [1, 2]

2. Vendor &

- Subcontractor Management

- Evaluate and onboard current vendors, suppliers, and labor contractors (thekedars).

- Conduct technical and commercial bid evaluations to create comparative statements.

- Monitor vendor performance regarding material quality, delivery speed, and pricing compliance.

- Maintain rate contracts and foster long-term supplier relationships. [1, 2]

3. Negotiation &

- Cost Control

- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to maximize cost savings.

- Conduct market trend analysis and benchmarking to identify cost-optimization opportunities.





- Track procurement expenditures against project budgets and flag any potential cost overruns. [1]

4. Site Coordination &

- Logistics

- Coordinate closely with site engineers, project managers, and logistics teams to prevent work stoppages.

- Track delivery schedules and expedite shipments or local transport for critical items.

- Inspect or arrange quality checks for incoming raw materials to ensure they meet engineering standards.

- Maintain accurate inventory logs, stock records, and MIS reports. [1, 2]

5. Compliance &

- Documentation

- Prepare purchase orders (POs), work contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs).

- Ensure adherence to local statutory requirements, safety standards, and tax policies (such as GST and TDS/TCS).

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
