Key Responsibilities

- Handle the whole procurement process of raw materials, mechanical components, hardware, consumables, tools, and other production-related items.
- Identify and develop new vendors based on quality, price, delivery, and technical capability.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and prepare comparative statements.
- Negotiate with vendors for best price, payment terms, quality, and delivery schedules.
- Prepare material estimates and support cost estimation and cost-saving initiatives.
- Understand BOMs, mechanical drawings, specifications, and material requirements.
- Follow up with suppliers for order confirmation, dispatch, and timely delivery.
- Maintain vendor records, quotations, purchase orders, and other procurement documentation.
- Develop alternate suppliers for critical materials and components.
- Monitor vendor performance regarding quality, cost, and delivery.




- Support management in identifying opportunities for cost reduction and productive procurement.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of purchase and procurement processes in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong vendor development, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
- Basic technical knowledge of mechanical materials, components, machining, and fabrication.
- Ability to prepare estimates and compare commercial quotations.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/procurement software.
- Good communication, coordination, and analytical skills.

Educational Qualification: Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering. Candidates with experience in defence, engineering, manufacturing, fabrication, machining, or industrial equipment will be preferred.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
