? Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager – Electronics to lead and manage end-to-end procurement activities for electronic components, systems and engineering materials.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in electronics sourcing, vendor development, commercial negotiations, cost optimisation and supplier management .

? Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end procurement of electronic components, equipment, systems and related materials .
- Develop and manage a strong network of electronics vendors and suppliers .
- Source components including PCB/PCBA, connectors, cables, relays, switches, sensors, displays, controllers, power supplies and other electronic components .
- Handle RFQ/RFP processes, quotation analysis, commercial negotiations and supplier finalisation .
- Negotiate price, payment terms, delivery schedules, MOQ and other commercial conditions .
- Prepare and release Purchase Orders (POs) in line with approved requirements.
- Prepare technical and commercial comparison statements .
- Coordinate with Engineering, Projects, Production, Quality, Stores and Finance teams.
- Monitor supplier performance, lead times, order status and on-time delivery .
- Drive cost reduction, alternate sourcing and supplier development initiatives.
- Identify and qualify new vendors based on quality, capability, pricing and delivery performance .
- Resolve supplier-related issues involving quality, shortages, delays, pricing and delivery commitments .




- Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, MIS and purchase documentation.
- Track market trends, component availability and pricing to support procurement planning.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with internal processes, quality standards and project requirements.

? Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of experience in Purchase/Procurement , preferably in Electronics, Engineering, Aviation, Defence or Manufacturing.
- Solid knowledge of electronic components and procurement processes .
- Hands-on experience in vendor development and supplier management .
- Strong commercial negotiation and cost-analysis skills.
- Experience with BOM-based procurement and technical specifications .
- Strong understanding of RFQ, quotation comparison, PO management and delivery tracking .
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/procurement software .
- Excellent communication, coordination and negotiation skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple procurement requirements and critical timelines.

? Qualification B.Tech/B.E. – Electronics / Electronics & Communication / Electrical or a relevant engineering discipline.

? Preferred Industry Experience

Candidates from Aviation, Defence, Electronics Manufacturing, Industrial Automation, Engineering, Aerospace or Technology industries will be preferred.

₹10–12 LPA , depending on experience, skills and current compensation.
