Role & responsibilities

Conduct product research and identify new suppliers and vendors. Source materials, goods, products, and services while negotiating the best commercial terms and cost-effective contracts.

Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, new products, and business opportunities.

Manage inventory levels, conduct stock inspections, and initiate reordering as required.

Inspect received materials and report faulty items, shortages, or discrepancies immediately.

Generate and process Purchase Orders (POs) accurately and in a timely manner.

Maintain records of purchase orders, payments, invoices, and received stock.

Coordinate with vendors and delivery teams to ensure timely delivery and follow up on delayed or rescheduled orders.

Handle end-to-end vendor on boarding and maintain updated vendor records.

Develop and maintain robust professional relationships with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

Demonstrate strong negotiation skills to achieve competitive pricing, payment terms, quality, and delivery timelines.

Attend product launches, exhibitions,



and industry networking events to identify new suppliers and products.

Monitor purchasing trends, business requirements, and market conditions and prepare relevant reports.

Identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvement. Propose innovative ideas to improve procurement efficiency and support business growth.

Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, quality standards, and approved processes.

ERP / Procurement Software Knowledge

Data Analysis & Procurement Analytics

Strong Negotiation & Commercial Skills
