We are looking for a Psychotherapist to provide counselling and psychotherapy services to patients and their families. The candidate will work closely with the Psychiatrist and other doctors to support patients with emotional, psychological, and behavioural concerns.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct counselling and psychotherapy sessions for patients.
- Assess patients' emotional and psychological concerns.
- Provide support for anxiety, depression, stress, relationship issues, grief, and adjustment problems.
- Provide counselling and emotional support to patients and caregivers.
- Work closely with the Psychiatrist and other medical professionals.
- Refer patients to the Psychiatrist when further psychiatric evaluation is required.
- Maintain proper and confidential patient records.
- Provide psychoeducation and guidance to patients and families.
- Support patients dealing with stress related to illness, hospitalization, or treatment.
- Follow hospital policies, professional ethics, and confidentiality standards.
Qualification
- Master's degree in Psychology / Clinical Psychology / Counselling Psychology or a related field.
- Additional training in psychotherapy or counselling is preferred.
Experience
- Experience in a hospital, clinic, counselling centre, setting is preferred.
