Part time advisory role shaping how our AI companion talks to students under pressure. NEET is high-stakes and lonely, and our companion tells students what to study, marks them wrong, and pushes them to keep going. Getting that tone right motivating without shaming — is a clinical question as much as a design one. No direct student contact.

Our current focus is an AI-coached exam-prep app for NEET aspirants. Instead of another content library the student has to navigate alone, an AI companion decides what they study next, teaches it, checks they understood, and holds them to the plan. It is a genuinely hard product problem: getting an AI to teach well, at a price Indian families can afford, on phon that barely have memory to spare.

The team is small and deliberately senior. You own your area outright, work directly with the people making decisions, and see what you build reach students in weeks rather than quarters.

Part-time / consulting (2–3 days a week, retainer). Remote or hybrid; Noida office availab

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Shape the companion's emotional approach: encouraging and firm, never punitive when a student fai





Advise on motivation and adherence — how to keep an anxious teenager showing up day after day

Set the boundary clearly: the companion supports and encourages, it does not counsel or diagnose

Design escalation protocols — what signals matter, and how a student in genuine distress gets pointed to real human help

Async review of flagged conversations; feed learnings back into prompts and guardrai

Partner with the AI team on evaluating wellbeing-related model behaviour

REQUIRED

Master's in Psychology, Counseling, or a related behavioral science

Exposure to adolescent mental health, exam stress, or academic pressure in the Indian context

Comfort working asynchronously and giving written feedback on AI behavior

NICE TO HAVE

Prior work with EdTech, crisis helplines, or student counseling services

Familiarity with AI/LLM products — comfort reviewing AI transcripts

Understanding of motivation and habit formation in teenagers

Published work or training in digital mental health
