Position: PRT Marathi

Key Responsibilities:

- Teach Marathi to Primary School students in alignment with the CBSE curriculum.
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate, and activity-based Marathi lessons.
- Develop students listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in Marathi.
- Strengthen students vocabulary, grammar, comprehension, and creative expression.
- Encourage students to express themselves confidently through storytelling, recitation, role plays, discussions, and presentations.
- Introduce students to Marathi literature, poetry, stories, traditions, and cultural heritage.
- Use innovative teaching methodologies, activities, multimedia resources, and experiential learning to make language learning engaging and meaningful.
- Conduct assignments, assessments, projects, and classroom activities to monitor student progress.
- Provide individual attention, constructive feedback, and appropriate academic support to students.
- Encourage reading habits and develop an appreciation for Marathi language and literature.
- Integrate art, technology, and interdisciplinary activities into Marathi lessons.
- Maintain academic records and contribute to school events, competitions, exhibitions, and enrichment activities.




- Collaborate with fellow teachers and academic leaders to support the holistic development of students.

Eligibility Criteria

- Bachelors/Masters Degree in Marathi or a relevant subject Mandatory.
- B.Ed. qualification preferred/mandatory as per applicable CBSE/school requirements.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant teaching experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of the CBSE curriculum and assessment practices.
- Excellent command of spoken and written Marathi.
- Strong communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create engaging, activity-based, and experiential language-learning experiences.
- Passion for child-centric education and developing language skills among students.
- Experience in lesson planning, student mentoring, project-based learning, and academic enrichment activities will be preferred.
