Role & responsibilities

1. Bachelors degree in electrical or electrical & Electronic engineering with minimum 10+ years of related work experience,
2. Experience in detail design of Power supply System (preferably AC system), Metro Substation/RSS/AMS/TSS.
3. Experience in Detail design/ pre-bid engineering of Power Supply systems/ Substation. Candidate with experience in Substation (Railway/Metro projects) will be preferred.
4. Thorough understanding of different OCS systems in 25kV AC (FOCS/ROCS), 750/1500V DC Traction
5. Experience in detail engineering of GIS substation and AIS will be preferred.
6. Knowledge of GPS & coordinated based designs & drawings, BIM.
7. Knowledge of various power system studies e.g. AC Load flow, short circuit, Earthing design, reactive power compensation, protection coordination etc. and understanding of simulation details.

8. Candidate should have minimum 10 years of experience in Metro design (RSS cum AMS cum TSS and ASS -secondary engineering). 9. Candidate should have very good knowledge of Protection relays, relay operation philosophy and selection of relays.

10. Candidate should have knowledge of SAS and Bay control protection system & operation.

11. Candidate should have experience of OEM relays like ABB, Siemens, Schneider, Alstom, Ashida, GE relays etc. and communication protocols.

12. Candidate should be able to do the relay setting calculations.

13. Candidate should be able to design the protection philosophy, protection/relay coordination study etc.

14. Candidate should be aware about protection single line diagrams of metro systems starting from RSS to LV system.

15. Candidate should be able to review the GTP/data sheets, specifications, catalogues of relays.

16. Candidates who have experience in testing & commissioning metro projects will be preferred.

Candidate should have knowledge & experience in relay testing & commissioning including troubleshooting/fault analysis for various OEMs relays.

1. Review the Power supply installation packages conceptual, outline and detailed design
2. Carry out design review of documents/ drawings
3. Ensure compliance of design with client requirements, applicable codes, standards and regulations.
4. Should have sound knowledge of Indian Railway ACTM & RDSO Standard and latest development in RSDO/IR/Metro
5. Experience working with RVNL/CORE/PGCIL/Metros/DFCCC will be preferred.
6. Should have sound knowledge of Load Flow & Simulation Study, Earthing & Bonding with Touch & step potential, and EMI/ EMC

Pre-Bid Design: -

1. Study of tender documents and to prepare technical queries
2. Working out optimized BOQs, comparison with client provided quantities and helping bidding team in putting most competitive bid.
3. Technical evaluation of offers.
4. Review of tender BOQ prepared by team, critically analyze, and provide guidance to the team
5. Taking lead in any technical discussion with customer or Vendor.

Preparing management report on engineered quantity and participate in tender discussion with management

Preferred candidate profile

Proficiency in software:

(Should have working knowledge of Basic, Auto cad UpToDate.
