This opportunity is suitable for propulsion engineers with 1–3 years of relevant experience, as well as fresh M.Tech postgraduates with strong academic projects or thesis work in propulsion.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform aerodynamic, thermodynamic, and combustion analysis of air-breathing or rocket propulsion systems.
- Model thrust chambers, nozzles, turbomachinery, and intake flows using specialised simulation tools.
- Support test-stand preparation, data acquisition, and post-test correlation analysis.
- Conduct propulsion system modelling and simulation to support research and development activities.
- Analyse simulation and test data to support propulsion system design and performance improvements.





Required Skills & Expertise

- Strong understanding of chemical propulsion, thermodynamics, gas dynamics, and heat transfer.
- Familiarity with tools such as:
- NASA CEA (Chemical Equilibrium with Applications)
- ANSYS
- MATLAB / Simulink
- Internal propulsion modelling scripts
- Understanding of combustion processes in air-breathing and rocket propulsion systems.
- Ability to model and analyse thrust chambers, nozzles, turbomachinery, and intake flows.
- Exposure to test-stand operations, data acquisition, and post-test correlation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in propulsion research and development.

Who Can Apply? Candidates with an M.Tech in Propulsion Engineering or M.Tech in Aerospace Engineering with a Propulsion specialisation and 1–3 years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.

Fresh M.Tech postgraduates with strong propulsion-related projects, dissertations, or thesis work may also be considered.
