Candidates having research experience in the area of carbohydrate chemistry/ polysaccharides will be preferred.

(a) Rs. 31,000/- + HRA for those candidates who have qualified CSIR-UGC/ICAR/ICMR NET incl. lecturership/assistant professorship or GATE or those who have qualified National level examinations conducted by central government departments like DBT, DST or equivalent and/or their agencies/institutions

above The project involves an integrated computational and experimental approach. The candidates having expertise in biochemical (biomaterials characterization) techniques and computer simulation will be preferred.

M.Sc. in Biochemistry/Biotechnology/ Botany/ Marine biotechnology/ plant biotechnology/Agricultural biotechnology

Candidates having research experience in the domain of seaweeds and molecular biology would be preferred.

(a) Rs. 31,000/- + HRA for those candidates who have qualified CSIR-UGC/ICAR/ICMR NET incl. lecturership/assistant professorship or GATE or those who have qualified National level examinations conducted by central government departments like DBT, DST or equivalent and/or their agencies/institutions

(b) Rs. 25000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under (a) above The candidate is supposed to work on development and characterization of FCO compliant seaweed formulations, their characterization, efficacy evaluation through omics approach

Age limit: 35 years as on the last date of receiving applications (age relaxation as per CSIR rule).

Applications received by e-mail will be scrutinized based on candidate's academic background with a certain criteria and shortlisted candidates as eligible as per the criteria will be asked to attend the interview on a later date. The details of the interview will be sent to shortlisted candidates by e-mail only. These positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.

The engagement of a project staff in different projects either in the CSIR - Central Salt & Marine Chemicals Research Institute, Bhavnagar or different Lab./Instt. of CSIR taken together shall not exceed 06 years in any case. It would, therefore,

- In the absence of Degree Certificate, Provisional degree certificates along with the mark sheets pertaining to the degree may be considered. However, in this case, request letter/email to university for providing degree certificate may be enclosed and degree certificate shouldbeproduced immediately after it is received from the University/Institute.
