1. Project Planning & Execution

* Plan and execute piping projects from project kickoff to final handover.
- Prepare project schedules, manpower plans, material requirements and execution strategies.
- Monitor project progress against approved schedule, budget and milestones.
- Identify delays and implement recovery plans.
- Coordinate multiple project activities simultaneously.

1. Piping Engineering & Site Execution

* Review and understand P&IDs;, GA drawings, isometric drawings, layouts and piping specifications.
- Supervise installation of:
- SS316L piping
- Utility piping
- Process piping
- Nitrogen and compressed-air systems
- Chilled water and cooling water
- Vacuum systems
- Specialty/UHP gas piping
- Coordinate fabrication, erection, welding, testing and commissioning activities.

1. UHP / Semiconductor Piping

* Experience in UHP gas distribution systems will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of SS316L EP tubing, orbital welding, VCR fittings, gas panels, VMB/VDB and gas cabinets is preferred.
- Ensure proper installation practices for high-purity gas systems.
- Coordinate welding documentation, weld maps and inspection records.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and applicable SEMI/ASME standards.

1. Project Team Management

* Lead Project Engineers, Site Engineers, Supervisors, QA/QC personnel and subcontractors.
- Allocate manpower according to project requirements.
- Monitor productivity and workmanship.
- Conduct regular site meetings and progress reviews.

1. Client & Consultant Coordination

* Act as the primary project contact for clients and consultants.
- Attend technical and progress meetings.
- Resolve technical/site issues with the client and engineering teams.
- Obtain drawing approvals and coordinate design changes.

Procurement & Material Management

* Prepare and monitor material requirements.
- Coordinate with procurement and suppliers for timely delivery.
- Monitor material consumption and reconciliation.
- Ensure availability of piping, fittings, valves, welding consumables and installation accessories at site.

1. QA/QC & Testing

* Ensure compliance with approved ITP, method statements and project specifications.
- Coordinate welding inspection and documentation.
- Supervise pressure testing, leak testing, flushing, purging and commissioning.
- Maintain project quality documentation and test reports.

1. Commercial & Cost Control

* Monitor project costs and resource utilization.
- Verify quantities and subcontractor measurements.
- Prepare and verify RA bills.
- Track variations, additional works and client approvals.
- Maintain quantity and material reconciliation.

1. Safety

* Ensure compliance with site HSE requirements.
- Conduct toolbox meetings and safety reviews.
- Ensure proper work permits, PPE and safe working practices.
- Coordinate with the client’s safety team.

1. Documentation & Handover

* Prepare daily, weekly and monthly project reports.
- Maintain project schedules and progress trackers.
- Coordinate as-built drawings and documentation.
- Prepare commissioning and handover dossiers.
- Ensure timely project closure.

Required Skills





- Strong knowledge of industrial piping execution.
- Excellent understanding of P&IDs; and piping isometrics.
- Good knowledge of SS316/SS316L piping and fittings.
- Knowledge of orbital welding and piping inspection.
- Project planning and manpower management.
- Strong client and subcontractor coordination skills.
- Cost control and billing knowledge.
- Positive communication and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project/Primavera and AutoCAD.

Experience

Minimum 8 years, with preferably 3+ years in a Project Manager / Project Lead role handling industrial piping projects.

Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should be a hands-on Project Manager capable of independently managing site execution, manpower, subcontractors, client coordination, quality, safety, schedule and commercial aspects of industrial piping projects.

Preference: Candidates with experience in SS316L UHP gas piping and semiconductor projects will receive strong preference

Pay: ₹65,000.00 - ₹85,000.00 per year
