Role Description The Project Manager – Transmission Lines is a full-time, on-site role based in Ranchi. This position is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing transmission line projects from initiation to commissioning, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with engineering, procurement, logistics, and construction teams; managing timelines and resources; monitoring progress at project sites; and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

The role involves reviewing technical documents, supervising inspections, addressing project risks, and communicating status updates to senior management and clients.

The Project





Manager also works closely with expediting and logistics personnel to secure timely delivery of materials and resolve any issues impacting project execution.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust project management skills, including Project Management experience with transmission line or power sector EPC projects.
- Candidates should possess expediting-related skills, such as working as an Expeditor and handling Expediting activities for materials, equipment, and documentation.
- Candidates should possess inspection capabilities, including experience in Inspection of transmission line materials, tower erection, and quality assurance at sites.
- Candidates should possess logistics management skills, including Logistics Management for material movement, coordination with vendors, and site delivery planning.
- Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Experience in transmission and distribution projects, preferably with EPC contractors.
- Knowledge of relevant Indian standards, safety practices, and regulatory requirements in the power sector.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams on-site.
- Proficiency in project management tools, MS Office, and basic reporting/documentation processes.
