Senior Project Manager SAP Supply Chain

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager SAP Supply Chain — a technically savvy leader who can operate at both business and technical levels — to lead large-scale SAP supply chain implementation and enhancement programs within a global, high-mix semiconductor equipment manufacturing workplace. The role spans SAP S/4HANA, IBP, EWM, TM, and MM/SD, and requires enough technical depth to engage credibly with architects and developers while driving program delivery, budget, and risk.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end SAP Supply Chain programs — implementations, upgrades, rollouts — from initiation through go-live and hypercare.
- Own project plans, budgets, resourcing, scope, and risk/issue management across multiple workstreams and vendors.
- Partner with SAP architects and technical leads to review design, data models, and integration approaches (APIs, IDocs, CPI/PI, EDI); flag technical risk early.
- Oversee integrations with adjacent systems (MES, PLM, CRM) and manage technical cutover, data migration validation, and defect triage.
- Support complex BOM management, global supplier/subcontractor coordination, and long lead-time procurement specific to capital equipment manufacturing.
- Run project governance: steering committee updates, stakeholder communication, and change management/training for adoption.
- Manage SI/vendor relationships and mentor junior PMs.

Required Qualifications




- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, IS, Engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years project management experience, including 5+ years leading SAP implementation programs in a supply chain context.
- Hands-on knowledge of SAP modules (S/4HANA PP/MM/SD/WM, IBP, EWM, TM) and SAP integration architecture, sufficient to challenge technical designs and estimates.
- Strong grasp of end-to-end supply chain processes: demand planning, procurement, production planning, warehousing, logistics.
- Proven record delivering complex, multi-vendor programs on time and on budget.
- Executive-level stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- PMP/PRINCE2 certification; SAP Activate methodology experience.
- Prior background as an SAP functional/technical consultant.
- Experience with S/4HANA migration/conversion (greenfield or brownfield).
- Semiconductor, capital equipment, or high-tech manufacturing experience.
- Familiarity with export control/trade compliance and multi-tier supplier networks.
