Project Manager

1. Role Overview

Responsible for planning, executing, and managing IT projects and service transition initiatives from initiation through completion. The role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing customer expectations, tracking project scope, schedule, risks, resources, and financials, and ensuring successful delivery within agreed timelines and quality standards.

1. Key Responsibilities

- Plan and manage projects from initiation through successful completion.

- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, timelines, and responsibilities.

- Coordinate cross-functional teams across Database, Cloud, Infrastructure, Application, and other technology tracks.

- Act as the primary point of contact for project-related communication with customers and stakeholders.

- Conduct regular project status meetings and provide progress updates to customers and leadership.

- Track project schedules, dependencies, milestones, deliverables, and overall project health.

- Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations and drive them to closure.

- Manage project resources, capacity, allocation, and utilization to ensure effective delivery.

- Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, knowledge transfer, shadowing, and transition activities where required.

- Manage project financials, effort utilization, billing inputs, SOWs, Change Requests, and commercial dependencies.

- Work closely with Sales, Finance, Contracts, HR, and technical teams to ensure smooth project execution.

- Ensure project deliverables meet agreed scope, quality, timelines, and customer expectations.

- Drive process improvements, standardization, automation, and operational efficiency initiatives.

- Manage project documentation, governance, action items, decisions, and status reports.

- Identify opportunities for resource optimization and improved project profitability.





- Support current projects and customer engagements through project planning, estimation, staffing, and transition activities.

- Lead customer escalations and ensure timely resolution of project-level concerns.

- Conduct project reviews and identify lessons learned and improvement opportunities.

- Ensure appropriate governance and communication throughout the project lifecycle.

- 12+ years of experience in IT Services / Project Management / Managed Services.

- Experience with SOWs, Change Requests, commercial coordination, and customer governance.

- Strong understanding of IT service management and project delivery processes.

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Strong ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
