About Metricon Homes

Metricon Homes specializes in US residential construction, including steel-framed homes, ADUs, and fire-rebuild projects. We are looking for a proactive and experienced Project Manager to oversee pre-construction and construction activities, coordinating with our US-based clients, vendors, consultants, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Pre-Construction & Permitting: Manage project planning, permit applications, design coordination, plan checks, and approvals with US jurisdictions.
- Construction Project Management: Coordinate US residential construction projects, including steel-framed homes and ADUs, from pre-construction through project completion.
- Vendor & Consultant Management: Coordinate US-based architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and other consultants to ensure timely deliverables.
- Project Planning & Scheduling: Develop and monitor project schedules, milestones, budgets, and deliverables.
- Steel Framing Coordination: Coordinate structural design, fabrication, procurement, and construction activities for steel-framed residential projects.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:



Work closely with India-based design and operations teams and US-based project stakeholders.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain project trackers, meeting minutes, schedules, and progress reports using project management tools.
- Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify project delays, permitting challenges, cost variations, and coordination issues, and drive timely resolution.

Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably in US residential construction.
- Knowledge of US residential construction codes, permitting processes, and construction practices.
- Experience managing vendors, consultants, and cross-functional teams.
- Robust planning, scheduling, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Proficiency in MS Project and AI-powered productivity tools.
- Ability to independently research, coordinate, and manage US construction projects.

Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with steel framing or modular/panelized construction.
- Experience with construction estimation and BIM tools.
- Familiarity with US permitting platforms and construction project management software.
- Experience coordinating with US-based architects, structural engineers, MEP consultants, and subcontractors.
