Experience

8–15 years of relevant construction experience, including experience managing complete projects.

Qualification

- B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering preferred
- Diploma in Civil Engineering may be considered with substantial relevant experience
- PMP / project management certification is an advantage

Job Purpose To plan, execute, monitor and successfully complete construction projects within the approved time, cost, quality and safety requirements, while effectively managing manpower, subcontractors, materials and client coordination.

Key Responsibilities1. Project Planning & Execution

- Develop project execution plans, schedules and milestones.
- Plan manpower, materials, equipment and subcontractor requirements.
- Monitor daily and weekly progress against the project schedule.
- Identify delays and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure timely completion of project activities.

2. Site & Construction Management
- Supervise overall construction activities at the project site.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, Supervisors, Foremen and subcontractors.
- Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications and method statements.
- Resolve technical and execution-related issues.
- Coordinate multiple activities to avoid delays and rework.

3. Cost & Commercial Management
- Monitor project expenditure against the approved budget.
- Control material wastage, labour costs and equipment costs.
- Review subcontractor bills and work measurements.
- Coordinate with the QS/Commercial team regarding measurements, variations and billing.
- Identify potential cost overruns and take corrective action.

Manpower Management
- Plan project manpower requirements.
- Coordinate with HR and recruitment teams for workforce mobilisation.
- Monitor productivity and deployment of labour.
- Ensure adequate skilled and unskilled manpower is available at the site.
- Manage site supervisors, engineers, foremen and subcontractor teams.

5. Material & Equipment Management
- Coordinate material requirements with the Purchase/Stores team.
- Ensure materials are available according to the construction schedule.
- Monitor material consumption and wastage.
- Plan equipment and machinery requirements.
- Ensure proper utilisation of construction equipment.

6. Quality Control
- Ensure construction work meets approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.
- Coordinate with the QA/QC team.
- Review inspection and testing requirements.
- Minimise rework and construction defects.
- Ensure proper documentation of quality records.

7. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and applicable statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with the Safety Officer/Manager.
- Conduct regular site inspections.
- Ensure workers use appropriate PPE.
- Take immediate action on unsafe working conditions.
- Support investigation and reporting of site incidents.

8. Client & Consultant Coordination
- Act as the primary project-level contact with the client/consultant.
- Attend project review meetings.
- Provide regular progress updates.




- Coordinate approvals, inspections and technical clarifications.
- Maintain professional relationships with clients and consultants.

9. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly project progress reports.
- Monitor project KPIs.
- Maintain project schedules and trackers.
- Review site reports, material reports and manpower reports.
- Escalate major project risks and issues to management.

Ideal Candidate A hands-on construction professional capable of independently managing a project team, coordinating site execution and subcontractors, controlling project costs, maintaining quality and safety standards, and delivering the project within the committed timeline.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
