Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager Civil to take overall responsibility for project planning, execution, cost control, quality, safety, resources, client coordination and timely completion of projects.

The role requires strong leadership and the ability to manage Site Engineers, Technical/Site Surveyors, QS, Store In-Charge, subcontractors, vendors and other project stakeholders. The position will work closely with the Project Coordinator and ensure that DMW Infra systems, processes and standards are followed throughout the project.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans covering scope, schedule, budget, resources and risks.
- Prepare and monitor the baseline project schedule using MS Project.
- Review project progress with the site team and take corrective action to achieve targeted schedules.
- Plan and arrange manpower, agencies, materials, equipment, tools and shuttering materials in advance.
- Lead the initial establishment of new project sites and ensure timely commencement of work.
- Take overall responsibility for project completion within the planned time, cost, quality and specifications.
- Conduct daily, weekly and monthly project review meetings.
- Develop execution methodologies for major project activities.




- Coordinate with subcontractors, agencies, vendors, clients and other stakeholders.
- Ensure timely availability and effective utilisation of manpower, materials, equipment and resources.
- Verify and certify labour, subcontractor and vendor bills as per company procedures.
- Monitor productivity, material consumption, equipment utilisation and project costs.
- Ensure execution as per drawings, specifications, quality standards and DMW Infra SOPs.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and site discipline.
- Coordinate quality inspections and corrective actions for quality issues.
- Ensure required statutory compliances, licences and project insurance requirements.
- Manage client coordination and maintain proper records of client correspondence.
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of monthly client bills as per BOQ.
- Follow up with clients for bill approvals and payments.
- Coordinate approval of rates for non-schedule and deviation items.
- Ensure timely submission of daily, weekly and monthly reports to HO.
- Review site reports and identify early warning / alarming points requiring management action.
- Ensure implementation of all DMW Infra systems, processes and SOPs at site.
- Develop and maintain DMW Infra culture across the project team.
- Ensure proper project handover and obtain completion / experience certificates from the client.

Candidate Profile

- B.E./B.Tech Civil Engineering
- 10–15 years of relevant construction experience
- Solid experience in managing construction projects from mobilisation to completion.
- Strong leadership and team-management skills.
- Good commercial, planning and execution understanding.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
- Good client, contractor and vendor coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and changing project requirements.
- Strong focus on time, cost, quality and safety.
- Willingness to work at project sites across Tamil Nadu is mandatory.
