We are seeking an experienced

Civil Construction Project Manager to plan, manage, and deliver civil construction projects from initiation through completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for project cost control, contract management, resource coordination, quality assurance, risk mitigation, stakeholder communication, and ensuring that projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with approved specifications.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage civil construction projects from planning and mobilization through completion and handover.

- Prepare and review project budgets, cost estimates, material quantities, and initial bids.

- Develop project schedules, work plans, resource requirements, and procurement strategies.

- Monitor project progress, expenditures, cash flow, and overall financial performance.

- Implement cost-control measures to prevent budget overruns and improve project profitability.

- Review, negotiate, and manage contracts with clients, vendors, consultants, and subcontractors.

- Supervise and coordinate project teams, site engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and specialized trade workers.

- Ensure the timely procurement and delivery of materials, equipment, machinery, and other project resources.

- Monitor material inventory, labor allocation, equipment utilization, and site productivity.

- Ensure that all construction work complies with approved drawings, specifications, standards, codes, and contractual requirements.

- Establish and monitor quality assurance and quality control procedures throughout the project lifecycle.

- Identify, evaluate, and mitigate project risks, including delays, material shortages, labor disputes, design changes, and cost increases.

- Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, engineers, authorities, and senior management.





- Serve as the main point of contact for project-related communication and decision-making.

- Review and approve project reports, progress claims, variations, invoices, and subcontractor payments.

- Conduct regular project meetings and provide accurate progress updates to stakeholders.

- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

- Manage project documentation, including contracts, schedules, reports, drawings, inspection records, and handover documents.

- Lead project closeout, snagging, testing, commissioning, and final handover activities.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.

- Proven experience managing projects from planning to completion.

- Strong knowledge of construction methods, contracts, project controls, cost management, and procurement.

- Experience managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams.

- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings.

- Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

- Proficiency in MS Office and project management software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, AutoCAD, or equivalent.

- Knowledge of applicable construction codes, quality standards, and health and safety regulations.

- Skilled engineering certification, PMP, or equivalent qualification is preferred.

- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
