- Design and develop new products from concept to production, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost reduction, quality improvement, and process optimization.
- Manage projects from planning to execution, including setting milestones, allocating resources, and tracking progress.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (DFX) and company policies throughout the product development lifecycle.
Job Requirements :
- 3-8 years of experience in electronics manufacturing or a related field.
- Strong understanding of EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services), NPI (Recent Product Introduction), SMT (Surface Mount Technology), PCB assembly processes.
- Experience with fixture design and build is required; knowledge of DFX principles preferred.
1. Dealing new product introduction (NPI) of smartphone's key component Main Logic Board (MLB) production, the job function majority will be divided into 4 types: SMA planning, Testing, Line Efficiency, and Meeting Coordination plus Shipping. Each individual need to coordinate with different internal function teams and work as single window communicate with customer.
- 1.1 SMA planning MLB EPM focus on daily material clear to build activates, and need to collect/define daily key validation demand from engineering team.
- 1.2 Testing MLB EPM need handle all testing related engineering issues and carefully allocate limited on hand MLBs to fulfill the demand of each function teams during engineering build .
- 1.3 Line efficiency MLB EPM need fully understand MLB processes to coordinate with internal NPI team to make sure the line is running smoothly, and need focus on UPH and process improvement activities.
- 1.4 Meeting Coordination plus Shipping MLB EPM serves for daily sync up and wrap up meeting coordination nation and summary, and response all allocation activities while the engineering boards were ready for packing and ship out of the factory.
2. MLB EPM need to coordinate with internal engineering/supply chain/manufacturing team to make sure each build can reach its’ validation purposes to continue success
- Timely and precisely deliver customer feedbacks as the bridge between the factory and the customer during the engineering build
- Control factory cost during the engineering build and follow up PO status with customer
