Job Overview:

Project Management professional with 15 to 20 years of experience in the Steel/Heavy Engineering industry, with strong expertise in end-to-end execution of complex CRM (Cold Rolling Mill) projects. Responsible for leading project planning, engineering, procurement, erection, commissioning and handover ensuring timely delivery and cost control.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the end-to-end execution of complex CRM (Cold Rolling Mill) projects from engineering, procurement and fabrication through erection, installation, commissioning, stabilization and final handover.

- Plan, execute and monitor ensuring timely completion within approved budget, quality, safety and technical requirements.

- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, execution plans, milestones and resource plans and ensure adherence to project timelines.

- Coordinate with Design, Engineering, Production, Procurement, Quality, Maintenance, EHS, Commercial and Project Execution teams for seamless project execution.

- Manage and coordinate with OEMs, vendors, contractors, consultants, inspection agencies and customers throughout the project lifecycle.

- Review and monitor GA drawings, fabrication drawings, shop drawings, technical specifications,



equipment layouts and execution methodologies.

- Monitor project progress, manpower deployment, material availability, productivity, costs, resource utilization and overall execution performance.

- Identify project risks, critical path activities, execution bottlenecks, interface issues and potential delays, and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions.

- Ensure effective coordination between engineering, procurement, fabrication, erection, commissioning and operations teams to achieve project milestones.

- Prepare and review project MIS, progress reports, cost reports, schedules and management dashboards.

- Coordinate with clients, consultants and internal stakeholders for technical discussions, inspections, approvals, design clarifications and project milestone reviews.

- Provide regular updates to management/promoters on project status

- Undertake domestic and international site visits as required for project execution, vendor coordination, inspections, commissioning and customer meetings.
