Job Role To lead the planning, technical execution and delivery of FEA, CFD, CAD, experimental and applied research projects at KCIRI. Provide technical guidance to project teams and clients, ensure quality, schedule and budget compliance.

Major Responsibility :

Project Leadership & Management

- Plan, schedule and coordinate projects within defined scope, timelines and financial budgets.
- Lead project teams, allocate tasks, monitor progress and ensure timely completion of deliverables.

CFD, FEA & Multiphysics Analysis

- Develop and review 3D CAD and computational models, including geometry idealization, surface cleanup, volume/shell modelling, meshing and model preparation.
- Plan and execute FEA, CFD and multiphysics simulations covering static, energetic, linear/non-linear, modal, thermal, internal/external flows, heat transfer, fluid mechanics (Tools- ANSYS, Altair, ADAMS)
- Define appropriate test cases and validation approaches, applying verification and validation principles and correlating computational results with experimental, test and field data wherever applicable.
- Prepare high-quality technical outputs,



including technical reports, presentations, journal papers, patents and other project deliverables, as applicable.

- Maintain confidentiality and integrity while handling client, project and research data.
- Demonstrate practical problem-solving, technical ownership and professional communication.

Supporting Actions :

- Coordination of activities related to project planning and scheduling
- Identifying other research application areas

End Results :

- Successful and timely completion of assigned projects within agreed scope, quality requirements and budget.
- Development of team capability and sustained technical contribution to KCIRI's research and industrial consultancy activities.

Educational Qualification :

- B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering or Aeronautical Engineering

Experience:

- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional/research experience in FEA, CFD, engineering analysis, simulation, product development or consulting.
