Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Lead - MEP to oversee all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection (MEPF) aspects of mission-critical Data Centre projects. This role combines deep technical expertise with strong project management skills to deliver complex infrastructure projects on time, within budget, and to specification.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

- Lead MEPF design and installation for Data Centre projects from concept to commissioning
- Review and approve MEP designs, drawings, and specifications ensuring compliance with client requirements and industry standards (TIA-942, Uptime Institute, ASHRAE)
- Provide technical expertise on critical systems including HVAC, power distribution, UPS, cooling systems, fire protection, and BMS

Project Execution

- Coordinate with architects, contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure seamless MEP integration




- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor installation quality, progress, and compliance
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources for MEP components
- Prepare technical documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and progress reports

Quality & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with building codes, electrical standards (IEC/NEC), safety regulations, and Data Centre best practices
- Implement quality control procedures and conduct risk assessments
- Plan and oversee commissioning, testing, and performance verification of all MEP systems
- Prepare comprehensive handover documentation and O&M; manuals

Stakeholder Management

- Lead client meetings and technical presentations
- Interface with operations teams to understand requirements and provide expert recommendations
- Build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and regulatory
